The Board of Directors meets to guide the direction of the Association and ensure we are serving our members effectively, responsibly, and transparently. These meetings are where important decisions are made regarding policies, finances, programs, and strategic initiatives that impact our members and the real estate community we serve. Board meetings provide a space to: Review and approve budgets and financial reports Set priorities and long-term goals for the Association Discuss member needs, industry changes, and advocacy efforts Ensure compliance with REALTOR® policies, bylaws, and state and national regulations Support committees and staff in carrying out programs and services Simply put, the Board meets to protect the integrity of the Association, plan for the future, and make sure member voices are represented at the highest level. Our quarterly luncheons are designed to bring members together for connection, education, and timely updates. These events provide an opportunity to hear important Association news, stay informed on industry changes, learn from dynamic speakers, and strengthen relationships within our REALTOR® community. Quarterly luncheons ensure members stay engaged, informed, and connected as our Association continues to grow and evolve.

Meet & Greet with Representative Trent Ashby – Description Join us for a Meet & Greet with Representative Trent Ashby on Monday, January 12 from 4:00–6:00 PM at the Beth VFW in Jasper. This informal gathering offers REALTORS® the opportunity to connect directly with a local elected official, ask questions, and engage in meaningful conversation about issues impacting our communities and the real estate industry. Attending a meet and greet helps strengthen relationships, keeps REALTORS® informed, and ensures our voices are heard beyond the transaction. Come enjoy light refreshments, casual conversation, and the chance to be part of the advocacy efforts that support property rights and homeownership.

The Community Outreach Committee serves as the bridge between the REALTOR® association and the communities we serve. This committee focuses on strengthening relationships, increasing visibility, and making a meaningful impact through service, partnerships, and charitable initiatives. Members of this committee help identify local needs, support community organizations, and coordinate outreach efforts that reflect the REALTOR® commitment to professionalism, service, and advocacy. From charitable drives and volunteer projects to community events and partnerships, the committee works to ensure REALTORS® are recognized as trusted leaders and engaged neighbors. This is a hands-on but flexible committee, ideal for members who are passionate about giving back, building goodwill, and representing the association in a positive and impactful way.

The TREPAC Committee supports the advocacy efforts of REALTORS® by promoting awareness, engagement, and participation in TREPAC (Texas REALTORS® Political Action Committee). This committee helps ensure REALTORS® have a strong, unified voice in protecting private property rights and advancing issues that impact real estate and homeownership at the local and state levels. Committee members play an important role in educating fellow REALTORS® about advocacy issues, encouraging voluntary TREPAC participation, and supporting fundraising efforts that help protect the real estate industry. The committee also works closely with association leadership to foster relationships with elected officials and promote REALTOR® involvement in the legislative process. This committee is ideal for members who are passionate about advocacy, leadership, and strengthening the REALTOR® voice beyond the transaction.
